Love Autumn

I found a lovely little pile of conkers in the garden that a
nature loving 9 year old gathered! I had to photograph
it! Very cute! Then my inquisitive cat came along too, just
to get in on the action! I love Autumn for it's beautiful and
rich colours.

Sunday Football

It's such a beautiful Sunday afternoon watching football... I couldn't
resist taking some photos. I chose the theme 'lines', both natural and
man-made. The score so far is 6-2 to us... so happy! :)

Honduras 2014

Here are a few photos from our epic adventure in Honduras! See some more
on my flickr page...also I will be slowly uploading more! I was struck by
the beautiful fruit that is grown there and just how lush the environment is.
Lots of sun and rain makes for happy plants! :)

The Farm!

A brilliant day had by all at the National Forest
Adventure Farm! A particular favourite was
being creative and making a scarecrow whilst
contributing to the world record of over 3000
scarecrows!! Also a signed copy of Julia Donaldson's
book 'The Scarecrow's Wedding'.

An awesome day! :)

Lines and Patterns Walk

I always enjoy taking photos when out and about or
exploring new places. Tonight I went for a walk with
my husband around our home town of Melton Mowbray.
There is a little place called Rhubarb Island which is
rather secluded and a little gem of Melton. I was struck
by the different patterns and lines in nature and man-made
structures. I particularly like the juxtapostion of natural
with unnatural and how this can actually be beautiful.
See more photos of my beautiful town here!
