House

It's been a long time since I've blogged on this site! So what a good way to return with Illustration Friday! I have been experimenting with my husband's new iPad pro and apple pencil! I love the 'Paper' app and the effects I can create. I think I will always prefer pen and paper, but for now this is fun! :)

Here is last week's Illustration Friday...with a digital makeover!
I love hand written text and creating an image from it.
I have created a gradual colour change to represent changes in nature.

Metamorphosis! I love doodling with lettering

so incorporated the metamorphosis of 

caterpillars to butterflies. You can see my

Summer

This week's Illustration Friday which is very apt as it is now officially 

Summer! The weather has been gorgeous and I just love the garden 

this time of year! The strawberries are ripening, the beans are shooting

up and everything looks so pretty! I feel inspired to snap some nature pics, 

so stay tuned for those!

Mask

I've gone for the simplistic approach this week with

this cute little illustration for Mask. Sometimes I feel

like less is more! Also it made me think about the masks 

we put on in life to protect ourselves or cover up our 

true feelings. A bit deep for a Sunday afternoon! :)

I am a self confessed hoarder! In my room/studio I collect
all things beautiful, cute, sentimental, patterned, pretty, starry,
polka dotty, stripey and lots lots more!
