Flour Painting

I did a lot of flour painting in The Baby Room at work so thought
it was time I tried it at home too! I think Mummy might have liked
it a bit more than Joshua as I got to paint whilst providing a messy activity too!
Will upload our combined creations in another post soon!

Flour painting: Just plain flour mixed with a little water and
food colouring!

New Paints!

I treated myself to a visit to the craft shop yesterday! I couldn't
resist these two colours... Pomegranate and Tide Pool! I have
used them to paint my handmade Christmas decorations and
ideas for Christmas card designs. Gorgeous colours! I will post
my finished designs soon!

Art Workshop

I had a very relaxing morning at an Art Workshop organised
by a very lovely lady called Tina! Tina had organised various
stations with different materials and ideas. I chose watercolours
and the seaside still life! A very inspirational morning!

Christmas Stars

I know it's September, but thought I'd better make a start on a Christmas Card design for 2014!
Stars are my favourite so I want to combine it with bible verses about the birth of Jesus!

Mini Art Studio

I love being creative, doodling and painting. One
day I hope to have my own art studio somewhere
in our house...maybe in the garden! For now I
a mini studio in our dining room! A girl can dream!

Shine like Stars

Here is the finished piece I produced for the charity
pledge night to raise money for our mission trip to
Honduras. 'Shine like Stars' made £25 and went home
to a lovely lady who loved it! In all we raised just over
£1,700 to the cause. Fantastic!!

Teaser!

Here is a little sneak preview of a painting I am
working on for a charity pledge night!

The money raised for this along with other talents
will go to Team Honduras! A group of 11 people
(including myself) from Melton Vineyard Church
are going out to support a church, school and
orphanage in the city of La Ceiba, Honduras.

I have been to Honduras twice before and taken lots
of photos, so take a peek! :)
